Mortal is a short RPG with a focus on replayability created by one developer. Inspired by my love for the RPG genre and the fact that it's difficult for me to find the time to play them, playthroughs of Mortal will only take around an hour, with tons of choices to make that will incentivize repeat playthroughs without necessarily requiring them.

Play as Em, a bounty hunter with a fatal illness, as she takes on different jobs across 3 days. Every day has 3 jobs to take on, but only one can be done each playthrough. Inspired by the frailty of characters in my favorite tabletop RPG, Em has a low HP stat that stays the same throughout the game. When Em's health gets too low in a battle, she'll take serious damage, permanently impacting her stats if it isn't treated fast enough. Smart use of skills and items will be the key to winning battles.

Mortal is being developed in RPG Maker 2003. This game contains content that isn't suited for players under the age of 18, such as strong language, blood and violence, and simulated gambling.
